Dear H.O.T. Friends,

We have been getting so many kudos on our H.O.T. Sauce I wanted to pass them on to you before they piled up too high. My comments are in [brackets]

OMG It was great I had it on Oysters.....Whew I was sweating...But HEY It cleared my sinuses!

We especially liked the gospel tract you included... because of it, we will probably buy more of your products. Thank you for helping us share Jesus with others!

[We also share the greatest story ever told via the freegift website: http://www.freegift.net ]

Myself & my family thought it was incredibly delicious. We normally buy ONLY Tabasco. We now have a new favorite!!!!!!!
MAN! I have been making my own hot sauce for years, mainly because it just tastes better. I ordered my free sample of H.O.T got it in the mail and honestly I was thinking just another heat, but no flavor. BUT! I tasted it! I mean it has a GREAT taste. Flavor is what it is all about. Well, that and heat. I tried it with eggs and cheese wrapped in a tortillas. With my hot sauce as a back up, but instead of eating mine, I wanted, no CRAVED more H.O.T. I want more and won't take no for an answer. lol Thank you so much. Really can I have some more? PLEASE? Come on............

[your plea has reached my heart, I hope my plea reaches yours. We have worked out a system for making these sorts of arrangements. My plea is that you will send me some of your money to efficiently facilitate this mutual satisfaction of our pleas. Please go to our order page here: http://www.hotexas.com/orders.htm  ]

I love your product in fact my whole family does. we are h.o.t habanero sauce crazy lol
I raise my own peppers of different varieties and have experienced some pretty hot stuff. Your hot sauce, on a scale from 1-10 is an 8. Not too TOO hot but not wimpy either. I rate it as being excellent! I would highly recommend it to all my friends and their friends as well. Bravo on a recipe well done. Audrey
Absolutely one of the top 3 HOT Sauces I have ever had! AWESOME taste, flavor, consistency & HEAT ! Tried mine with eggs, rice, chicken, soup and straight up! Will definitely be ordering in the near future as they just don't have anything like it available up hear in MAINE. Can't wait to try it on steaks, wings, quesadillas & seafood! A MOST EXCELLENT PRODUCT!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!

Thank you so very much for such an AWESOME product!
Sincerely,
Alan "REV" Snowdeal

I loved the enclosure. What a way to show your testimony. That was awesome. I shared it with our bible study group. They also thought it was a great testimony for the Lord Jesus.
It was very good. A little different then I imagined, which was nice. It had a different texture then most other sauces. It was thicker then I expected, which was good. It was hot without being painful, and I think it would make an excellent additive to spice up chili or salsa. Overall it seemed like a very good product, and I look forward to purchasing it in the future.
Let me tell you something, Bill, whoever you are. H.O.T. is the best sauce ever. We have a bunch of candy-ass sauces in Kansas. (It figures, considering we have that candy-ass football team, the KSU Wildcats...but that's a story for another day.)

Anyway, amigo, H.O.T. kicks ASS! It's the only sauce I'll use. Tabasco...sucks. Ketchup....sucks. That other sauce ...sucks.

Thanks for H.O.T. It makes my Chili the best in Kansas. And if my friends don't like it, they can move in with my neighbors, who are a bunch of wusses.

Keep up the good work!
From your friend in Kansas,
Mike Patterson

Hello,

I just wanted to say Thanks for the super fast delivery of my order of your great hot sauce. I gave it a try and my eyes were pouring a river!

Thanks
Jay [Speaking of our delivery, I wanted to fill you in a little on that - -* most all of our samples, 100s of 1000s of them have been sent by bulk mail. It was only recently that we learned that bulk mail usually takes over a month, sometimes 6 weeks to arrive, assuming it wasn't thrown away or squished in the post office machinery. Going forward we will be using first class mail to send out our introductory packets. Don't try to trick us, because we have you in our database. We can only send one free sample per family. We do have, however, for only $11.95 a box of 50 of these handy H.O.T. packets which are great to take with you and protect you from the curse of bland food. http://www.hotexas.com/orders.htm  In contrast to the "iffy" delivery of our free samples, shipment of our products is made on the same day we get the order, via UPS and they arrive promptly.]

I am a Texas Pete fan, I haven't found anything else that I like better than Texas Pete, until now . I love the chunky texture, the smell is deliciously intense, and the flavor ... YUMMMMY, thank you so much, I am going to spread the word for sure. I rate it a 10 star sauce. Isn't it amazing what GOD can do, he put into that little bitty pepper a BIG punch of heat and flavor, next time you make a batch of sauce, think of each ingredient and instead of thinking of it as an ingredient, think of it as GOD's creation and what GOD put into it, it is truly amazing how GOD puts things together, and how, when mixed together they taste so good, GOD knows what he is doing, GOD does it all for us, hmmm kinda makes you think, he has blessed us with abundant riches, take a look around, food, water, nature, breath of life, etc., now what have we done for him, He gave JESUS, what have we given, I think it's about time to pray, and weep, and praise, for GOD is mighty, and GOD is LIFE forever. Guess you didn't think that your sauce would bring on this effect huh, maybe put a verse on the jar, instead of what it says about hell, that should make the sauce stand out much more highly, don't you think, just a suggestion, other than that the sauce is great.

[Hallelujah, brother, sic 'em. For those of you who haven't seen our sauce in the big, beautiful 16 oz. jar, it still does say, "You don't have to go to hell to get good hot sauce". We see nothing sacrilegious in this slogan, quite the contrary. The word hell is not a curse word, but it is one hell of a curse, and you don't want to go there, to get hot sauce or for any other reason. Here is an exchange of e-mails between Greggory and me:

My brother and his unit just deployed to Afghanistan. They are for the most part lovers of hot sauce. I would like to see if you would be interested in introducing his battery of 75 soldiers to your products. I know they would appreciate having something they can add to that bland food. I served 12 years myself. I am disabled and am no longer in the military myself. While in Iraq I had only that Tabasco.... product. I would have loved to have something with a little, well a lot more kick. We put hot sauce on all of our food regardless of what it is. Soldiers love it.This is a great way to introduce your products to people from all over the United States. I received some products while in Iraq. I still use those products faithfully. I am enclosing my address as well as my brothers. Any assistance you can give me in helping them get some great sauces is greatly appreciated.

Greggory A. Barnes

I replied:
Dear Greggory, as per your request, we are dispatching forthwith 500 portion packs of our extraordinary HOT sauce to Theater Afghanistan. We will use the APO address assuming that will get through. The soldiers waging the war on terrorism in Afghanistan, Iraq and around the world are the great heroes of the American culture, on the par with George Washington and the troops at Valley Forge. Though frequently scourged by the media and leftist politicians, the legends of their exploits will pay tribute to their legacy throughout the ages to come. A more noble cause has never been engaged by the American soldier or indeed the armies of any culture throughout history. It is the least that we can do to help make their MRE's (meals rarely eaten) into MRE's (meals relished exquisitely).

God bless you and your comrades in arms. Please let us know when we need to send more product.

We are sending you, personally, a pack of 50 to eat or spread around as you see fit.

Bill

Greggory answered:
Mr. Fernald,

I want to say thank you. Not only for sending sauce to my brother and myself, but also for writing such a beautiful letter. It has touched many people. I have shared it with many of my family members and friends. I was born at Ft Eustis Virginia. Our Mother was in the Army at the time I was born. My biological father was in the Army also. For whatever reason he was not around to raise me. When I was five my mother married my stepfather and a year or so later my brother Luke was born.

Our father (my stepfather) was in the National Guard for many years. His father was an MP. He served in the European Theater during WWII. It has always been understood that my brother and I would join the Army before starting our individual careers. Not because we were told to, but because we understood.

The reason I told you this is so you would understand that country and service to country are instilled in our family. That is why it is so nice to receive such an inspiring letter. In all of my life I have not heard, from a stranger, that sort of understanding of what service really is. People say when a soldier dies he is a hero. What they do not realize is that the soldier has long been a hero. I do not consider myself a hero, and neither would most soldiers. What I do consider myself is honored. Honored my grandparents served, honored my parents served, honored I served, honored my brother is serving, and more importantly I am honored that my 10 year old son wants to serve. I go to school full time year round working to get into nursing school. I am around a great deal of young people not yet 22. I am 33 and it makes me feel really old. They are always talking about the war and politics. I can tell you that those I am around have very little understanding of the world and its many people. To make matters worse it appears that the majority of the professors have little to offer in the way of understanding. I often show how I feel to the dismay of the uninformed.

The sauces you sent to my brother will get through just fine. Thank you again. We all appreciate your kindness.

If you haven't been there before, there's lots and lots more testimonies on this page:

Well, that about wraps it up for this issue. For all those who were offended by the religion herein, we'll be praying for you. Please spare me the lecture about how it's not good for business to talk about Jesus. This business does not exist to make money first and then save a little spot for God. God is number one, not only in our businesses, but in our lives, and we pray fervently for those who have no place for God in theirs. And we, like He, love the whole world for which He gave His Son.
